Red dry wine is made in full compliance with the centuries-old Georgian wine production tradition. In the lovingly tended vineyards, the harvest takes place in September, 4 tons of grapes are harvested per hectare and pressed in vats, as the ancestors have done for thousands of years. By placing it on chacha in pitchers. The grape juice is fermented for 7 months, then aged for an additional few months in other vats, which are then bottled and rested for at least another 3 months. The wine in this bottle is natural, which is more than just organic wine. It is a product of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. Wine is made only by the traditional Kakhuri method, only in kvevri - orange wines with 6-month skins and 10-15% of stems (2-3 kg/s in kvevri), and red wines in two ways - 2 weeks with skin and 6/7 months with skin. Fermentation takes place at zero level in vats designed for pressing, rather than in other vats after 6/7 months of contact with the skin, we bring aging wines to a depth of 6 meters, specially designed for aging and storage. for at least 1 year.

Brand History

Anapea, is a natural wine company, established in 2013, with a unique mission: to restore the 19th century Kakheti region's household activity, lifestyle, viticulture tradition, people's attitude to vineyard and wine, vintage and winemaking techniques and culture. For the sake of this mission, the Anapea family decided to build a micro-ecosystem with ancient Kakheti agriculture, vineyards, wine cellars and residential houses. What did they start with first: reviving the land, the soil. We built a biohumus production plant to restore soil fertility. After that, they planted seven ancient Kakhuri grape varieties, including Mtsvivan, Khikhiv, Kis, Green, Saperavi, Rkatsiteli Rosova (pink Rkatsiteli), Rkatsiteli. In addition, to illustrate the ancient Kakhuri wine grape varieties, we planted 33 local, very rare grape varieties.
