Lecithin is a natural source of essential phospholipids (choline, inositol, phosphatidylcholine). Essential phospholipids are the main building blocks of cell membranes and participate in the protection and restoration of cells, therefore lecithin is necessary for the normal functioning of each cell of the body, especially important for liver, heart muscle, brain and nerve cells. Lecithin is the main building block of liver cells, in case of metabolic disorders in the liver, lecithin intake supplies the body with high-energy essential phospholipids, which in chemical structure ideally correspond to endogenous phospholipids, they penetrate into liver cells and restore the structural and functional integrity of the damaged cell membrane, as a result, lecithin improves liver functions and enzymatic activity of liver cells.
Lecithin reduces the level of energy loss in the liver and promotes the regeneration of liver cells, converts neutral fats and cholesterol into forms that are easier to metabolize, stabilizes the physicochemical properties of bile.
