This book includes five novels by Grigol Robakidze, which, considering the dramatic life of the great writer, were created in completely different times, environments and circumstances. From the 1900s to the end of the 20s, Grigol Robakidze was considered a recognized author, one of the leaders of the cultural and literary process and a legislator of taste in Georgia. After leaving the Soviet Union, he was branded an enemy of the people and banned for a long time. Grigol Robakidze's five novels - "Snake's Shirt" (1926), "Maggie - Georgian Girl" (1932), "Cry of the Goddess" (1934), "Guardians Gralisa" (1937), "Falestra" (1928) - first in his homeland, and then in exile. A large part of them has been successively translated and published in leading German publishing houses. And since Grigol Robakidze's emigrant archive is still considered lost, the translation of several novels was prepared from those editions. Grigol Robakidze wrote in a card to Stefan Zweig in 1927, in which a completely unknown author in Europe asked for support from a recognized and super popular writer: "The matter is not about the literary name of the poet, but about introducing the spiritual condition of a small eastern nation to European peoples." Novels included in the book ("Cry of the Goddess", "Maggie - Georgian Girl", "Guardians of the Grail").
