Three different stories from three different countries – Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine – offer a unique perspective on the difficult past and present of wars, told through the perspective of women. The book tells about the experiences of women during and after the war, reflecting the impact of the consequences of war on them. With this project, we want to pay tribute to all women on the front lines of war, who are direct or indirect participants and victims of armed conflicts.
With this project, we tried to analyze the wars and conflicts that have had a severe impact on the Caucasus and Eastern Europe, and at the same time, talk about the importance of justice and peace in the world. The stories presented in the book reflect the Abkhazian War in Georgia (1992-1993), the Russo-Georgian War (2008), the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Wars (1988-2023), and the ongoing war in Ukraine (2014 to the present).
