"Lake shore songs" occupy a central place in Dato Barbakadze's poetic work. The book is divided into three parts, and each of them revolves around one fundamental philosophical theme. This is an odyssey of lyrical consciousness not to know one's purpose, but to remember it. Therefore, the author imagines going through this difficult path not as a way out of the labyrinth, but as a process of searching for an entrance to the labyrinth. The book is structured in such a way that each of its components (that is, each poem) is organically connected with each other, continues with each other, complements each other or purposefully excludes each other.
