About the translator: playwright and director Giorgi Jamburia was born in 1992 in Tbilisi. After graduating from the sixth public school named after Guram Ramishvili, he went to study in Germany with a scholarship from the German Academic Service (DAAD). First at Heidelberg College, then at the Free University of Berlin at the faculties of philosophy and German philology. In 2016, he entered the Berlin University of the Arts with a scholarship from the International Center for Drama, which he graduated with honors in 2020 with a diploma play based on the motifs of "The Snake Eater". Giorgi Jamburia's first play "The Death of Emperor Heliogabalus" was staged on the stages of Berlin, Potsdam and Graz theaters.
