Family Winery Mildian's story begins in 1991, when four brothers full of enthusiasm and love for winemaking founded a company that, despite many obstacles, is still growing and developing. Everything started with a special love for winemaking. In the early days, the wine stocks in the country were purchased and exported, which became a prerequisite for building one's own wine bottling plant in Mtskheta. Soon, a pottery workshop was built there, where multi-faceted ceramic wine bottles were made. The clay bottles produced by this workshop, in which wine was poured for the purpose of commercialization, were the first precedent in post-Soviet Georgia. In a few years, as a result of purposeful and tireless work, the foundation was laid for the construction of his own wine factory, which was equipped with the highest quality Italian equipment. This enterprise is located in Tsinandali, one of the outstanding wine-growing areas in Kakheti. High-quality wines and other alcoholic beverages of grape origin are produced here, which have received many international awards and medals over the years. It is worth noting that the color of the 2002 harvest of Mildiani winemaking was the first Georgian wine after the collapse of the Soviet Union, which was awarded a silver medal at the international wine competition in Paris in 2004, Vinalies Internationales.
