Levani Winery Akhmeta, Kvevari Saperavi, Red Dry Wine, 2019.

The wine is made from biologically pure Saperavi grapes harvested in the village of Akhashen, Kakheti region. The wine is aged using the traditional Kakhuri method in kvevri, with a delay of 24 days on chacha-claret and then aged without chacha for 11 months in kvevri, and finally aged in the bottle. It is a fresh, unprocessed, unfiltered, natural red semi-sweet wine. Requires decanting for at least 25 minutes.

Levani Winery manages an 80-year-old small vineyard planted on 0.25 hectares. The family has been making wine for many generations and still continues the traditions of their grandparents - making wine using the traditional Georgian method. Levani Winery is located in Kakheti, Akhmeta, a region known for its winemaking history. The winery is located in the heart of the Alazni Valley, in an ideal climate for growing organic grapes, with a view of the Caucasus Mountains.
