Tea Topuria
She was born on October 26, 1977 in the city of Sukhumi. In 1998, she graduated from Tbilisi State University. Faculty of Journalism, Javakhishvili State University. She worked and still works in various media and non-governmental organizations. Her works are published in literary periodicals, and her stories and poems are included in prose and poetic collections of Georgian authors. She is a nominee and laureate of various prestigious literary competitions. It has also been presented several times at the Astrid Lindgren International Competition. She is the author of books radically different from each other in terms of genres: the prose-poetry collection "Mint Pot", the collection of short stories "Two Rooms in Cairo", the collection of poems "Ecocide" and three children's prose collections: "Paradise Vacations", "Wake Up Tales" and "One Long Day Another on the planet".
