The multi-volume works of the great Georgian scientist and public figure Ekvtime Takaishvili have not been published to this day, moreover, a certain part of his heritage is still unpublished, and a part has become a bibliographic rarity.

The National Academy of Sciences of Georgia and the publishing house "Artanuj" took up the task of publishing the works in full.

Publication of works is planned in about 12 volumes.

Volume I included the materials of the expeditions conducted by the scientist in Tao-Klarjeti and a large part of the research results: "Archaeological expedition to Kola-Oltis and Changli in 1907"; "1917 Archaeological Expedition in South Georgia" (both Georgian and Russian versions of the report); "Muslim Georgia".

From this, the materials of the 1917 expedition were published only once, and the report of the 1907 expedition was printed twice without illustrations.
The new edition is accompanied by both illustrations and integrated search results.
