Since the 1960s, Tamaz Chkhenkeli has been publishing letters about Vazha-Pshavela’s poetry, which were published in 1989 as a two-part study − “Letters on Vazha” and “Tragic Masks” in one collection under the title “The Beautiful Conqueror.”
In 2009, the research was also published as a book “Tragic Masks”, which included Merab Ghaganidze’s article “Experience of Encounter and Access” on the research conducted by Tamaz Chkhenkeli.
