Description

The natural Kvevari wine of the family cellar of the Akhmet Wine House is made using the traditional Kakhuri method. Bio-certified grapes are grown from Akhmet and Alaverdi vineyards. The wine is unfiltered, maybe a small noble precipitate.

Brand History

"Akhmet's Wine House" is a small family winery. He is a member of the Natural Wine Association of Georgia and has been engaged in natural wine farming and viticulture since 2014. It is important for them to protect as much as possible the ecosystem and biodiversity of the vineyard, grapes and wine and natural biological cycles in general. At the same time, their wine is officially BIO certified by an accredited organization of the European Union. BIO certified vineyards are located in the Kakheti region, in the microzone of Akhmet, in the surroundings of Alaverdi Monastery and Akhmet. The wine is fermented in traditional Kakhuri method using natural yeast, without any intervention and does not contain any additives. Natural amber wines are distinguished by their unforgettable and distinctive rich taste and aromas. Currently, the winery produces six different wines: Kis, Khikhiv, Kakhuri Green, Mtsvivan, Rkatsiteli and Saperavi.
