Brand History

Winemaking Ambra's goal is to produce biologically pure, organic wine that will improve people's health. The company was founded by Akaki Siradze, who returned from Tbilisi to his native region, Racha, who started producing Khvanchkara in 2018 and named it Kve Sheni Chirime out of love for Racha. Initially, there were many difficulties and tireless work in the startup. In order to purchase the necessary equipment for production, Akaki gave up his studies for a year and devoted this year to marketing activities to increase brand awareness. In 2019, Khvanchkara was already sold in all prestigious wine bars and restaurants on the Georgian market under the brand name Kve Sheni Chirime. After that there was the Asian market, Europe and Ambra was born. Winemaking Ambra wines are sold in the Dutch market, where the brand has gained great recognition. One of the well-known wine critics and evaluators, Simon Wolfe, rated Ambra Khvanchkara 4.5 out of 5 points and said that he had never tasted a similar Khvanchkara. Amber wines are also sold in the Japanese market. In 2021, Ambra wines won 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal at the international Kvevari wine competition.
