Haakaa - The Colostrum Collector is the world's first product that allows mothers to easily and safely collect and store colostrum during pregnancy and postpartum.
In most cases, colostrum is collected in a disposable syringe, which is mostly made of harmful plastic. Haakaa offers a special collector made of 100% medical-grade silicone, which does not emit harmful toxins and safely stores colostrum in the refrigerator or freezer and is suitable for multiple uses. Thanks to its soft, elastic and convenient shape, the collector does not irritate the nipples and promises comfortable removal for mothers.
Each collector comes with a sticker on which you can indicate the collection date, which makes it easier to control the storage period of colostrum.
Instructions for use:
The sterile collector is placed in an individual package, on which the sterilization date is indicated. If 12 months have passed since sterilization, it is advisable to re-sterilize the collector before use. Also, in case of repeated use, it is necessary to sterilize the collector, which can be done by placing it in a sterilizer or in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. It is recommended to wash the collector by hand or with a soft sponge in warm soapy water.
Before use, make sure that the collector is sterile. Gently hold the collector in your hand to facilitate the collection of colostrum with pressure.
