"History of the Caucasus" consists of two volumes and such a complete edition is published for the first time. The work presents the great path that the countries and peoples of the Caucasus have traveled - the early, proto-feudal, feudal feud and fragmentation era, the domination of foreigners, the difficulties of the colonial oppression of tsarism and the Soviet empire. Traditions, political situation and diplomatic relations of the Caucasus countries; National, religious, social or cultural diversity and striving for internal Caucasian peace. In the research, there is an attempt to substantiate that the basis of peaceful coexistence and integration of the people of the Caucasus is the Caucasian civilization, which is based on the common values ​​formed in a single historical past. Created by a group of authors [Roin Metreveli (leader), Valeri Vashakidze, Vakhtang Guruli, Aleksandre Daushvili, Lela Mikiashvili, Johnny Kvitsiani, Giorgi Cheishvili, Otar Janelidze], the history of the Caucasus is presented through the study of Georgian and foreign language sources, archaeological and ethnological, numismatic and folklore material.
